Hollydell Goes On The Market

Posted on 18 December 2010

One of the Central Coast’s most unique, yet little known, prestige properties is up for sale. Hollydell, a 10.5 acre seaside property, surrounded by national park,  is located in the hidden valley between Forresters Beach and Bateau Bay.  The property is owned by Harrie and Gwenda Hall and has been operating as a palm plantation and a retreat for the family for the past 20 years. Mr Hall says that Hollydell has given the family 20 years of enjoyment  but its now time to sell.

The property is truly unique in the Sydney/Central Coast region. It is right on the ocean, has over 1000 palms, a million liters of fresh water on the property, is completely private, just one hours drive from Sydney by car or with its helicopter landing field right beside the house, just 15 minutes by air.

People that visit the property say that it’s the nearest thing to being on a tropical island, like Vanuatu, without leaving NSW. The property is expected to draw keen attention from resort developers or wealthy businessmen that want a private paradise by the sea within an hour of Sydney.
